Training
At Hooper's Hounds there are multiple options for helping you and your dog.
We help you to understand your dogs behaviour and emotions, whilst building motivation in your obedience and increasing the dogs confidence.
One to One sessions
This is where we come to you and work with you in sessions and you do the daily training in between.
These sessions can be intense with a lot of information, as such follow up notes will be provided and possibly videos of the session if appropriate.
We do NOT offer single sessions for new clients, it is extremely rare for dogs to only need one session and we do not offer harsh quick fixes (often seen in flashy social media posts where the training will not last long term), existing clients can book top up single sessions.

Residential Training
Residential Training, also known as Board and Trains, based in Colchester Essex, where your dog will live Jamie in her home and go through a 'doggy boot camp' to lay a strong foundation of behaviour changes and obedience training.
A thorough 3- 6 hour handover will take place at the end of the residential stay. Prices also include two follow up one to ones to help carry over the skills into your own home.

A MINIMUM of 3 weeks is required for all residential clients. This gives us time to bond as a dog and handler as well as proof the behaviours in a variety of environments.
3 Weeks will be for obedience only, or possible for current 121 clients wishing to finish training with the intensity a residential involves. Any behaviour modification (aggression, resource guarding etc) will require 4 weeks or more depending on the severity.

Puppies and dogs with separation anxiety may be required to pay additional fees due to the time required for these cases.

Puppy Training
A variety of options to get you and your puppy off to the best start.
Puppy Socialisation Package - £120 A basic exposure package of 4 sessions to help your dog see the world and feel confident in a variety of environments, including accessing multiple people and dogs in a safe way. This is good for those who have prior training knowledge but want there dogs to get safe exposure with a trainer and safe dogs.
Basic puppy development - £250, includes socialisation package and 2 one to one lessons. One at the beginning and one at the end of you puppy package. Ideal for someone who has had training before but may need some extra help.
Premium Puppies - £450 The best start possible for you and your puppy. This includes 5 one to one lessons working on all things lifestyle and obedience with your puppy. Including at home and out in the real world, as well as the puppy socialisation package included.
